These wheels are great all-rounders and several staff members have used them for road and cross over the winter and are raving about them... lighter than alloy wheelsets and easier to live with than tubulars these guys can only make you faster! ViCiOUS VELO DOUBLE CROSS!

 

It may be a new year but the CX season is still with us and over the Christmas break the CX CycleLab team managed to rack up some more podiums! Leona managed to hit the top spot for both Double Cross races and Anett made it a double podium of the Saturday in 3rd... AMAZING! The boys didn't fair as well but they did manage there highest placings of the year despite the conditions... yes that is a puddle and yes, its over the hubs!

Don't forget there are 2 more races left in the London League and fingers crossed Leona will be crowned London League winner to add to her South/South east Champions titles!

Congratulations to Mike Hall who just broke the record for riding around the world by 2 weeks using a set of Reynolds carbon clincher Thirty Two rims!

Mike had the production rims custom drilled to fit with some MTB DMR hubs... here's what Mike had to say about them:

"I probably had 5 or six big pinch punctures and there were 2 or 3 where I cleaned the rims up to look for cracks. You're on a fast road and you hit a square-edged hole at 30mph; that's a bit worrying. But the rims were always fine."

We just had a delivery from the guys at USE.  Their exposure lights are simply amazing.  We are stocking the flare lights, which give out a massive 110 lumens on the front and an impressive 75 lumens on the rear (£40 each) and the Joystick which pumps out a massive 300 lumens with a long 3 hours burn time on its highest setting (from £145).  Pair up the flares with the recharge kit to save of batteries (£20).  We also have the red eye (rear light) attachments for the joystick for the ultimate lighting system.
