The Croix de Fer features a Reynolds 725 steel frame with a double-butted cro-mo fork. Full Shimano Tiagra 10 speed gruppo (w/ compact chainrings and 12-28t cassette). Alex XD-lite rims, Conti tyres & Avid BB7's finish the build and for 2013 this classic has switched to gloss slate (read black!) paint work...

A huge thanks you to Stan of Impact Massage http://www.impact-massage.co.uk/ who stopped and gave me a lift home yesterday even though I was covered head-to-toe in mud!
After a week of crazed drivers seemingly using me for target practise I was taken back by this utterly staggering act of kindness... Stan you are the man!
If you need post crash attention or just a massage to help you keep on rolling the extra miles I can heartily recommend Stan's practise - he really gives a sh!t
NB Ok so 'cross training out in the countryside on tubular tyres without a spare was asking for trouble but that aside it could have been any mechanical and a 9 mile walk home is still a long way!
